Bajaj Auto October sales dip 14%

Biznext india : Bajaj Auto, India’s largest seller of three-wheeler vehicles and second largest seller of two-wheeler vehicles, on Monday reported 14 percent drop in its October’21 sales at 4,39,615 units against 512,038  units in October’20.

The company’s domestic sales during the month of October dropped by 22 percent at 2018565 units, while export sales also plunged 4 percent at 221,050 units.

The company’s overall two-wheeler sales dropped by 17 percent owing to 26 percent dip in domestic sales.

In the April-October 7 months, Bajaj has reported 29 percent rise in sales at 25,90,036 units as against 20,08,478 units during the corresponding 7 months of FY 21.

Domestic sales grew by 6 percent to 11,07,918 units and Exports grew by 54 percent to 14,82,118 units.
