RBL Bank appoints Ramnath Krishnan as Chief Risk Officer, to take charge on 1st Oct

Mumbai : Private sector Bank RBL Bank today announced the appointment of Ramnath Krishnan as Chief Risk Officer effective from 1st October. Ramnath will take over from Bhaskar Niyogi who will be retiring from the services of the Bank.

Ramnath, a Chartered and Cost Accountant by qualification joined RBL Bank from HSBC where he spent the last 23 years in various senior positions both in India and overseas. He has 31 years of experience across the banking and financial spectrum, including investment banking, private banking, wholesale banking, strategy, risk and financial crime risk remediation.

Welcoming his appointment, RBL Bank’s Head of Risk and Governance R. Gurumurthy said, “Ramnath is a valuable addition to our leadership team. He brings on board significant experience and a multifaceted perspective that will further strengthen the Banks risk and governance framework.”
