Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha on Friday a proposal by Jindal Aluminum Limited for setting up 75,000 MT / annum Aluminum Extrusions plant with an investment of Rs. 500 crore of capacity. The project will provide additional employment opportunities for 1000 people.
The proposal has been cleared at the 90th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting held on Friday under the Chairmanship of chief secretary Asit Tripathy. The meeting was attended by senior officials including Industries Secretary, Hemant Sharma.
The SLSWCA also cleared a proposal by Glen Industries Pvt. Ltd. to set up Plastic Food Containers & Moulded Paper products manufacturing unit with annual capacity of 9261 MT, with a total investment of Rs. 63crore and providing employment to about 273 people.
