Jio adds over 2.72 lakh mobile subscribers in Odisha in March: TRAI Data

Bhubaneswar: Reliance Jio has added highest 2.72 lakh new mobile subscribers in March 2021, as per the latest telecom subscriber data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

As per the telecom subscriber data released by TRAI, Reliance Jio now has nearly 42% subscriber market share in Odisha with over 1.43 crore mobile subscribers in the state. While Reliance Jio added highest 2.72 lakh new mobile subscribers in Odisha in the month of March 2021, Bharti Airtel added just 64701 subscribers followed by BSNL which added 49133 subscribers in the month, revealed the data published by TRAI. Vodafone Idea had lost 52751 subscribers in the month.

Fuelled by the impressive subscriber addition by Jio, total mobile subscriber base in Odisha increased by over 3.33 lakhs and surpassed 3.43 crore.

Nationally, Jio also added the highest 79 lakh new subscribers, followed by Airtel which added around 40 lakhs, while VI added 10.8 lakh subscribers and BSNL added 1.93 lakh subscribers in March 2021.
