Biznextindia : Apple on Wednesday announced the launch of its much-awaited iPhone 14 along with Apple watch 8 series and the new AirPods Pro 2 earbuds. The price of iPhone 14 has been kept at par with iPhone 13 i.e the price of the iPhone 14 starts at $799, the iPhone 14 Plus starts at $899.
The iPhone 14 comes with a 6.1 inch screen just like te iPhone 13, while the iPhone 14 Plus (not Max) comes with a larger 6.7-inches screen (borrowed from the Max model). Both these models come with all day battery life and an enhanced version of the A15 Bionic chipset. So, no A16 chip in these iPhone 14 models. Some of the other features that these iPhone 14 models bring are improved camera system, especially in the low-light, 12-megapixel primary camera system, crash detection that even the Watch Series 8 includes, satellite connectivity, and a lot more. In the US, iPhone 14 will not come with SIM tray as these models will offer eSIM support.
The iPhone 14 Pros get a new 48-megapixel primary camera, with a 60 per cent bigger sensor, and deliver 2x better low-light photos than the iPhone 13 Pro.
The Cupertino based technology giant has also announced Apple Watch Ultra with a rugged design, 36 hours of battery life and a lot more. Apple Watch Ultra starts at a price of $799. India price is set at Rs 89,900. Consumers can order the Apple Watch Ultra today and it will be available from September 23.
Apple also launched the new AirPods Pro 2 earbuds. The new AirPods comes with active noise cancellation, statial audio feature, powered by H2 chip, 6 hours of listening time, and a bunch of other nifty features. It will be available for a price of $249.
