Bajaj Auto monthly sales continue to dip on weak demand

Biznext india : Bajaj Auto, India’s largest seller of three-wheeler vehicles and second largest seller of two-wheeler vehicles, on Wednesday reported 10 percent drop in its November’21 sales at 3,79,276 units against 422,240 units in October’20.

In October, the company had reported 14 percent drop in monthly sales at 4,39,615 units against 512,038 units in October’20.

The company’s domestic sales during the month of October dropped by 20 percent at 158755 units, while export sales also plunged 1 percent at 220,521 units.
The company’s overall two-wheeler sales dropped by 12 percent owing to 23 percent dip in domestic sales.
However, in the April-November 8 months, Bajaj has reported 22 percent rise in sales at 29.69,312 units as against 24,30,718 units during the corresponding 8 months of FY 21.
