Biznext india : Bajaj Auto, India’s largest seller of three-wheeler vehicles and second largest seller of two-wheeler vehicles has registered 5 percent growth in its August’21 sales at 373,270 units against 356,199 units in August’20. Overall, domestic sales dipped by 7 percent to 172595 and exports grew by 18 percent to surpass 2 lakh units.
The company has registered 5 per cent growth in two-wheeler sales at 338,310 as against 321,058 units in august 20 . Domestic two-wheeler sales dipped by 11 per cent to 157,971, while exports up 26 percent to 180,339 units.
Bajaj Auto’s overall commercial vehicle sales dropped by 1 percent percent to 34960 units. While, domestic sales grew by 91 percent to 14624 units, exports slip by 26 percent to 20,336 units. Bajaj’s range of commercial vehicles are mostly comprises of three-wheeler vehicles like auto rickshaws, light pick-ups.
