After Airtel, Vodafone-Idea also hikes pre-paid tariff upto 25%

New Delhi: After Airtel, another telecom operator Vodafone-Idea Limited (VIL) has announced price hike for its prepaid service. The new plans will be available from 25th of November.

“The new plans will start the process of ARPU improvement and help address the financial stress faced by the industry” the company said.

The Rs.79 pack with 28 days validity has been hiked by 25 percent to Rs.99 which provides talktime worth Rs.99 along with 200MB data 1p/sec voice tariff.

In the unlimited voice bundles segment, the Rs. 149 plan has been hiked to Rs.179 which provides unlimited calling, 300 SMS and 2 GB data for a 28 days validity. Similarly, the Rs.219 plan has been hiked to Rs.269 which provides unlimited calling, 100 SMS/day, 1 GB/day data.

Yesterday Bharti Airtel has announced price hike of its prepaid plans upto 25 percent effective from 26th November.
