Bhubaneswar: JSW Steel, part of the diversified US$ 13 billion JSW Group, today reported 3% rise in Crude Steel production at 4.24 million tonnes in the April-June Quarter, against 4.12 million tonnes in the corresponding quarter of 2018-19.
Of the total 4.24 million tonnes, production of flat-rolled products increased by 1% to 2.91 million tonne from 2.87 million tonne in the Q1 of 2018-19. Meanwhile, production of Rolled products (long) has increased by 12% to 1.05 million tonne from 0.93 million tonne in the Q1 of 2018-19.
