Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported total sales of 58,701 units in May 2025, including 43,861 units sold in the domestic market and 14,840 units exported.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of HMIL, said, “Our total sales for May 2025 reached 58,701 units. This month included our scheduled biannual week-long maintenance shutdown at the Chennai manufacturing plant, which impacted the availability of some key models. Despite this, we continue to see steady growth in our export volumes—an encouraging reflection of our strong commitment to the ‘Make in India, Made for the World’ vision. Looking ahead, we anticipate stable demand in both domestic and global markets, supported by easing geopolitical tensions and an improving macroeconomic environment.”
