India destroys 3 Pakistan Airforce bases
Pakistan launches ‘Operation Bunyan ul Masoos’ against India
Biznextnews : In response to Pakistan’s Balistic missile attack, India has launched retaliatory strikes on major Pakistani cities — including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore — in response to repeated ceasefire violations along the border, escalating tensions overnight. The Indian military targeted three key Pakistani air bases, as well as posts in Sialkot and Narowal.
Sources reported that India employed air-to-surface missiles and drones during the operation. They claimed Pakistan suffered significant damage to its air assets, rendering its aircraft inoperable. However, the Pakistan Army denied these claims, stating there were no casualties or material losses.
There are reports of dogfight between India and Pakistani fighter jets near Srinagar and in some places in Punjab.
The strikes followed a new wave of Pakistani drone attacks on Friday, targeting 26 locations across India, from Jammu and Kashmir to Gujarat. These were intercepted by Indian air defence systems. In Punjab’s Ferozpur, three members of a family were injured when debris from a Pakistani drone crashed into a residential building. They were immediately taken to a private hospital.
A day earlier, on Thursday, Pakistan had launched 300–400 drones at 36 locations across northern and western India, just after India had carried out strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). In a strong response, India launched a fresh wave of drone attacks on Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, and also shot down a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet over Rajasthan.
