Scindia gets Civil Aviation, Vaishnaw gets Railways, Telecom & IT
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inducted 43 new faces in his cabinet. Out of the 43 ministers, 15 are cabinet ministers and the rest 28 are deputy ministers (MoS). After the swearing ceremony this evening, the government has announced portfolios of the ministers a short while ago. While Jyotiraditya Scindia has been given the charge of Civil Aviation ministry, Aswini Vaishnaw will be in charge of important ministries like Railways, Electronics, Communication and IT. The Petroleum ministry has been given to Hardeep Singh Puri. Dharmendra Pradhan will be the new education minister of the country.
