NMDC raises Iron Ore prices

New Delhi : Public sector Iron Ore miner NMDC has increased Iron ore prices from today. While lump Ore prices has been increased to Rs.3200 per tonne, fines prices has been hiked to Rs.2810 per tonne. These prices are excluding Royalty, DMF, NMET, Cess, Forest Permit Fee and other taxes. Before this revision, the sized iron ore were selling at Rs.3050 per tonne and Iron Ore fines were selling at Rs.2660 per tonne.

The miner  had produced 6.87 million tonnes  and sold 6.84 million tonnes of Iron ore in the first 3 months (April-June)  of the current fiscal. The quarter on quarter production has almost halved, considering the Jan-March production at 11.35 million tonnes. In June, NMDC has produced 2.34 million tonnes and sold 2.31 million tonnes of Iron Ore.
