After 14 days, slide in Oil price stops
Petrol falls Rs.2 and Diesel Rs.1.5 since May 29
NewDelhi : The continuous fall in Oil prices by the state owned Oil marketing Companies has stopped today. The price reduction started on May 30 with just one paise cut raised severe criticism from the people and political parties.
However, Oil marketing companies like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum continued the reduction for almost a fortnight. Indian Oil, the country’s largest Oil marketing company has cut Petrol prices by about Rs. 2 and Diesel prices by Rs. 1.50 in these 14 days.
Today Petrol price in Delhi is Rs.76.43, which was Rs.78.43 on May 29. Similarly, Currently Diesel prices in Delhi is Rs.67.85, which was Rs.69.31 on May 29.
