KIOCL to sell Iron Ore Pellets to AbuDhabi based Emrates Steel, Signs Memorandum of Understanding

BiznextIndia : Public sector Iron Ore producer KIOCL Limited today said that it has entered into tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Emirates Steel, Abu Dhabi and Star Global, Dubai for sale of high grade Pellets to Emirates Steel.

Abu Dhabi based Emirates Steel is the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, utilizing the latest rolling mill technology to produce rebar, wire rod and heavy sections.

KIOCL exported 70% of its total production of 2.44 Million Tonnes of Iron Ore pellets in FY19. The exports pellets to markets like China, Japan, Korea, Peru and Europe.
