Reliance 42nd AGM LIVE : Jio Giga Fibre to be launched on 5th Sept, Says Ambani

Mumbai : Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani today announced the launch of Jio Giga Fibre on commercial basis on 5th September 2019, the 3rd anniversary of Jio. Speaking at the 42th Annual General Meeting of RIL, he said that the roll of jio fibre will complete in the next 12 months and is being targeted to reach 20 million subscribers. Jio broadband’s speed starts 100 Mbps and goes upto 1 Gbps.

“With every Jio Fiber home all our LCO partners will continue to have a steady stream of revenue for their broadcast TV business. Over the past months we have upgraded our MSO’s infrastructure to world-class standards. Now LCO partners can offer the largest bouquet of High-Definition channels to customers with better features, reliability and customer experience than even DTH” said Mukesh Ambani.

Ambani has announced that Saudi Aramco will buy 20% stake in RIL’s oil-to-chemical division for $75 billion. As per the deal, the Saudi based oil company  will supply 500,000 barrels per day of crude oil to Reliance refineries after taking stake.
