JSPL reports 17% growth in Steel output during Apr-June quarter

NewDelhi : Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL), a part of the USD 22 billion diversified O. P. Jindal Group has reported a 17% growth in Steel & related production at 1.57 Million Tonnes during the April-June quarter of FY20. The company has also reported a sales growth of 16% at 1.51 Million tonnes during the quarter. The quarterly production and sales of steel & related products stood at 1.35 MT and 1.30 MT respectively in Q1FY19.

India’s largest Blast Furnace at JSPL Angul Odisha has produced its highest ever Hot Metal production of 10845 MT for a single day on 2nd July 2019. It is also reported that this is the ever highest production produced by any of the BFs in India.
