JSPL appoints Sudhanshu Saraf as the Chief Executive Officer of Steel Business

BiznextIndia :  Leading Indian Steelmaker Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) has appointed  Sudhanshu Saraf as the Chief Executive Officer of Steel Business. The appoinhnent of Mr. Sudhanshu Saraf as CEO – Steel Business comes along with the elevation of Naushad Akhter Ansari as Joint Managing Director (JMD) of JSPL.

Mr. Saraf’s deep understanding in identifying and deploying actions on System Constraints for maximizing benefit of existing systems will go a long way in realizing the continuous efficiency enhancement and operational excellence roadmap at JSPL”1 Mr. N. A. Ansari, Joint Managing Director, JSPL said.

Mr. Ansari was elevated from his designation as CEO- Steel Business on 1st January 2019, and has been insu·umental in leading the turnaround of JSPL. The 6 MTPA integrated steel plant at Angul was fully commissioned and completed during his tenure as CEO – Steel Business. Prior to taking over the reins as CEO-Steel Business, Mr. Ansari was instrumental in completion and successful commissioning of 2 MTPA integrated steel plant at Sohar (Oman).
